Welcome to the Generational Profiles FAQ page. This page answers questions submitted to the site. If you have a questions do not hesitate to contact us. We will answer your question and post it on the FAQ page.

Q. What is Generational Profiles
A. An online profile that determines what generation you currently belong to based on traits and tendencies more so than by age.

Q. Is there a fee for my profile?
A. No, there is no fee for taking the Generational Profile - Personal Edition.  Savoy River has a more extensive profile, has customizable demographic gathering capabilities, and offers customizable reporting and consultation on the results. Q. Why is there a Personal Edition?
A. Generational Profiles - Personal Edition is offered to anyone, 15 years old or older, to promote the issue of solving generational differences in the workplace, with friends and family. To access the Personal Edition click the green box to register and follow the registration process. After completing your Generational Profile you will have opportunity to invite others to join your group profile.

Q. What is Generational Profile - Personal edition?
A. The Generational Profile Personal Edition consists of a smaller subset of profile questions. Upon completion of the profile, the User is able to see how they view themselves, how they view their own generation and the three other generations via the reports. After viewing the reports they then can invite others to join their Profile Group.

Q. What is Generational Profile – Corporate Edition?
A. The Generational Profile - Corporate Edition is the complete profile in determining how the User views themselves and the generations. Upon completion, the User receives an in-depth report as to what their dominant traits and tendencies as it relates to each generation. Management has functionality to review each profile and pre-defined groups that meet specific requirements to meet the corporate requirements of the profile. Additional demographic functionality can be added based on the uses of the profile and other data collected.

Q. How do I signup for the Generational Profile - Corporate Edition.
A. You may sign up for the Generational Profile - Corporate Edition by clicking here (***link to corporate page***) to take you to our web form. Fill out the form and a representative will contact you.

Q. If I have any problems with the website, who do I need to contact?
A. Contact the webmaster, here.

Q. Where do I register for the Generational Profile - Personal Edition?
A. Click here to register.

Q. Where do I register for the Generational Profile - Corporate Edition?
A. You can not register for the Corporate Edition through the website. The corporate edition requires additional consultation for setup and establishment of rates.

Q. When I sign up, the screen says that my email is in the system. What do I do?
A. Choose another email. If you can not choose another email, contact Technical Contact (email address here).

Q. I logged in, now what.
A. Click on the words "My Profile" or "How You View Other Generations" to take each section of your profile. Remember your profile will not be complete until both sections are complete.

Q. You mean there is more than one section to the My Profile?
A. Yes. Currently, Generational Profiles - Personal Edition has two sections; My Profile and How You View Other Generations.

Q. Why are the Invite and Report tabs "grayed" out?
A. You need to complete both the My Profile and the How Your View Other Generations sections of your profile to activate the tabs before viewing the Reports or Invite others to your Profile Group.

Q. I finished one section, now what?
A. Depending on what section you have completed, you may "re-enter" into the particular section you just completed to see your reports. For example, if you just completed My Profile, click on My Profile again to see your reports. Clicking on How You View Other Generations, will show results related to How You View Other Generations.

Q. What does the Invite tab do?
A. You may invite up to 15 people into your profile. The 15 people you invite are separated into three sections; Friends, Family, and Work or School.

Q. Ok, so how do I invite someone?
A. Inviting someone into your profile is simple. Just add his/her name into the email address box and click on the button labeled "Add User." Generational Profiles will send out an email requesting your invited guest to either approve or deny his/her invitation.

Q. What do I do if the person I invite declines their invitation, but I really want them to take it?
A. Send an email to that person, making sure they received the email. Some times, users might have just ignored a Generational Profile invite, or the email will be put in the junk mail folder. If you still feel that there is a problem, contact us at technical@generationalprofiles.com profiles.com

Q. I have people invited into my profile, so now what?
A. Now you may see your results by clicking on the Result tab. The individuals that you invite into your profile will be included into two charts that are displayed on your screen.

Q. What exactly do the charts in the reporting section tell me?
A.The charts on the reporting page are separated into two categories; Alignments and Non-Alignments. The Alignments tells you how much of your group aligns with your main tendency. The Non-Alignments consist of those that DO NOT align with you and what their main tendencies are.

Q.How do I invite more people into my profile?
A.If you wish to invite more than 15 people into your group, consider purchasing Generational Profiles – Corporate Edition by contacting us at info@generationalprofiles.com.
